The Arval Inspection Tool is a digital platform specifically designed to streamline the end-of-contract vehicle inspection process. It enables Arval to efficiently manage the return of leased vehicles by standardizing inspection procedures, reducing manual tasks, and improving data accuracy across its operations.
By digitizing this critical phase of the vehicle lifecycle, the tool helps ensure that all returned vehicles undergo consistent, thorough assessments before being prepared for resale, redeployment, or fleet reintegration. This not only enhances operational efficiency but also improves transparency and accountability across Arval’s partner network.
In an effort to enhance operational efficiency and significantly reduce manual processes, Arval set out to integrate its Inspection Portal with Ridecell, a comprehensive fleet orchestration platform that plays a central role in managing their mobility services.
The goal of this integration was to establish a seamless, automated data flow between the two systems, eliminating the need for repetitive manual data entry and reducing the risk of errors or delays. Specifically, the integration was designed to support real-time exchange of inspection-related data, such as vehicle condition reports, damage assessments, inspection statuses, timestamps, and photographic documentation.
To meet the integration goals we developed a tailored API-connection between the Arval Inspection Portal and Ridecell’s platform using the WEM no-code environment.
The integration ensures that inspection-related data, such as vehicle handovers, condition reports, and status updates, flows directly between the two systems in real time. This removes the need for manual input, reduces errors and creates a more efficient process for both internal and external stakeholders.
Thanks to the flexibility of the WEM platform, the solution was developed and implemented in a short timeframe, with full alignment between Arval’s operational needs and Ridecell’s technical requirements.
