We are aware that you place your trust in us and that you want your data to be handled properly. In this privacy policy you can find information about how SOWEDO handles (personal) data that you leave with SOWEDO.
This Privacy Statement applies to all activities and to all websites of companies and trade names of SOWEDO Personal data can be exchanged between group companies of SOWEDO. Under SOWEDO include the following companies or trade names:

  • I-Company B.V.;
  • I-Company Business Solutions B.V.;

"SOWEDO” provides services and software solutions for customer contact and communication to clients in the commercial and charitable sector. We respect the privacy of all users and ensure that the personal information we receive is treated confidentially.

All information is stored securely and is only accessible to those persons for whom it is appropriate to process the information. We do this by implementing technical, security and organizational measures.

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?
SOWEDO can be regarded as the party responsible for processing the personal data and special personal data of the employees affiliated with SOWEDO within the meaning of the Wbp and AVG.

Which personal data is processed by SOWEDO?
The following personal data and special personal data can be processed by us:

  • Name and address details, date and place of birth, proof of ID, passport photo, BSN, IBAN;
  • Resume
  • Personal data or special personal data that are necessary for proper guidance of employees with regard to health and well-being;
  • Employee insurance details;
  • Other legally required personal data based on specific legislation (for example Tax Act, Identification Act, Gatekeeper Improvement Act, etc.).

You can prevent cookies from being placed automatically or delete cookies that have already been placed by adjusting your settings in your browser. Purposes
We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • Registration of appointment as an employee;
  • Handling of information requested by you;
  • To implement and improve our services;
  • Further information provision about current developments;
  • Recruitment and selection;
  • For the optimal functioning of our employees.

The personal data will only be used for the purposes mentioned above and your explicit consent will be obtained for other purposes.

Use of our services and solutions
SOWEDO can act as a processor for clients within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In that case, we only process and/or edit personal data in the context of an assignment. In that case, the considerations regarding the processing of personal data are laid down by the client and us in a processing agreement. Otherwise, the personal data will not be provided to third parties, unless we are obliged to do so on the basis of specific legislation.

SOWEDO - together with any processors - ensures appropriate organizational and technical security of personal data. In this way we ensure that this data is only accessible to persons who are authorized to do so by virtue of the position or task and that the data is only used for the purposes for which it was obtained and on the basis of a legal basis.

SOWEDO ensures that personal data is only processed or managed within Europe and not outside Europe.

Proceedings
The risks are laid down in our procedures and processes, which are guaranteed on the basis of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards. These standards are tested annually by means of both internal and external audits. Certificates and reports thereof are available for inspection on request.

Communication
When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may store those messages. We do not store personal data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above. The retention period for personal data depends on the purpose for which the personal data is used. After your personal data is no longer necessary, it will be anonymised or deleted. Sometimes we ask you for your personal details that are relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions or answer requests.

The data is stored on secure servers of SOWEDO or those of a third party.

Third parties
The information will not be shared with third parties. SOWEDO only provides personal data to third parties when this is permitted and done carefully. Personal data will only be provided to third parties if you have given permission for this yourself or if this is permitted under the Personal Data Protection Act. SOWEDO provides personal data, for example, to the police, judicial authorities or anti-fraud organizations when this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or legitimate interest of SOWEDO. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

Change
SOWEDO reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. You are responsible for staying informed of the latest version of this privacy statement. We therefore recommend that you consult this statement from time to time to stay informed about how we protect your personal data. You will find the date of the last changes at the bottom of this page.

Right to inspect, correct or delete personal data
We always offer you the opportunity to view, change or delete all personal information that has been provided to us. If you want to change your data or have it removed, you can contact us via the contact details below. There are sometimes legal or technological restrictions for the removal of personal data (for example, based on the Archives Act). If applicable, you can also request to transfer your personal data to an organization indicated by you (right to data portability)
